<br />DES:djk (lq/17/93 <br /> <br />(120/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />9/27/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />12079 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE POLICE FACILITY <br />WETLAND MITIGATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11960, adopted April 12, <br /> <br />1993, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Police Facility <br /> <br />Wetland Mitigation Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />advertisement, <br /> <br />one <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />was <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Cagwin & Dorward of Novato, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />was the <br /> <br />only bidder for said project and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Cagwin & Dorward; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Cagwin <br /> <br />& <br /> <br />Dorward, <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />amount <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Sixty-five <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Six <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Fifty-six <br /> <br />and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($65,656.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated <br /> <br />September <br /> <br />14, <br /> <br />1993, <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Police <br /> <br />Facility <br /> <br />Wetland <br /> <br />Mitigation Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the only bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />09/17/93) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />"",..q.,,""--,," ,~-""-"U <br />
