<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />DES:djk OJ3/23/93 <br />)/13/93 <br /> <br />(113/34) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />12072 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF ONE (1) <br />"RIDE-ON" LAWN MOWER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />written <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />without <br /> <br />public <br /> <br />advertisement <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />solicited for the purchase of one (1) "ride-on" lawn mower; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />solicitation <br /> <br />three <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Turf <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Industrial <br /> <br />Equipment <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Santa <br /> <br />Clara, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />accept the <br /> <br />bid of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />Turf and Industrial Equipment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Turf and Industrial Equipment for the sale <br /> <br />of one <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />"ride-on" lawn mower to the City of Redwood City in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />amount <br /> <br />of Ten Thousand Four Hundred Forty-six <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />13/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($10,446.13) <br /> <br />in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated July <br /> <br />28, <br /> <br />1993, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />accepted, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />said bidder <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder in response <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />solicitation <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />without <br /> <br />advertisement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />equipment. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> <br />Turf and Industrial Equipment is, <br /> <br />and each of them are, hereby <br /> <br />waived. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute such purchase orders or other purchase documents (in form <br /> <br />approved <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Attorney) <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />effectuate <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />approved hereby. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />- "'--"._"'"'""'-"---"'""""""""--"-"--'---"---~--'-"""'-..".,.".-.--,..,-.". <br />
