<br />0 R. I GIN A L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O.~2062- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH TARGET EDUCATION AND WELFARE <br />COUNCIL, INC. (FAIR OAKS SENIOR CENTER) <br /> <br />(8-15-93) <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior Center) <br /> <br />has been established for the principal purpose of providing a multipurpose Senior <br /> <br />Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior Center) <br /> <br />has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during the <br /> <br />fiscal year commenclllg July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to pay <br /> <br />Target Education and Welfare Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior Center) the sum of <br /> <br />FOURTY-THOUSAND SEVEN-HUNDRED AND SEVENTY AND NOIlOO DOLLARS ($40,770.00); <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval and <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Target Education and Welfare <br /> <br />Council, Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior Center) and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to approve the same: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS; <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Target Education and Welfare Council Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior <br /> <br />Center), a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and <br /> <br />the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
