<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />(8-15-93) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12062 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SERVICE LEAGUE OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County has been established <br /> <br />for the principal purpose of providing assistance to persons recently <br />released from correctional systems and their families in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Service League of San Mateo County has requested <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Service League of San Mateo County the sum of ELEVEN- <br /> <br />THOUSAND ONE-HUNDRED SEVENTY AND NO/lOO DOLLARS ($11,170.00); AND <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Service League of San <br /> <br />Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Service League of San Mateo County, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file in the Office of the City <br />Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />. ..., -' "."-'---"'----"-'" <br /> <br />.
