<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />3-15-93) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 12060 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE SALVATION ARMY, REDWOOD CITY CORPS <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Salvation Army, Redwood City, Corps, has been <br /> <br />established for the principal purpose of providing emergency assistance <br /> <br />to residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Salvation Army, a California non-profit corporation, <br />has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> <br />activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending <br />June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br />desires to pay to The Salvation Army, a California non-profit <br /> <br />corporation the sum of FIFTEEN-THOUSAND EIGHT-HUNDRED EIGHTY AND NO/lOO <br />DOLLARS ($15,880.00) and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood and The Salvation Army, and <br /> <br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement form dated 8-15-93, by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and The Salvation Army, copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.._",----" <br /> <br />... ." .'
