<br />(8-15-~ J <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />12058 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH LEGAL AID SOCIETY OF SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has been established <br />for the principal purpose of providing free legal assistance to seniors <br /> <br />and families of modest income who live in San Mateo County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County has requested <br /> <br />financial assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said ~equest and <br /> <br />desires to pay to Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County the sum of <br /> <br />TWO-THOUSAND FOUR-HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/lOO DOLLARS ($2,450.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Legal Aid Society of <br /> <br />San Mateo County, and it is the intention and desire of this Council <br />to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County, a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />"_.,--".~.._"-..__..""....,_.__._------".._..--~--_.__._-_....-----...-..,..-.. <br />
