<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />(8-15-92) <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH KAINOS HOME AND TRAINING CENTER <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />12056 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center has been established for the <br /> <br />principal purpose of providing homes and vocational training for developmentally <br /> <br />disabled adults in Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kainos Home and Training Center has requested financial assistance <br /> <br />for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and desires to <br /> <br />pay to the Kainos Home and Training Center of Redwood City the sum of TWO- <br /> <br />THOUSAND, FIVE-HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE AND NO/lOO DOLLARS ($2,521.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and the Kainos Home and Training Center of <br /> <br />Redwood City, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Kainos Home and Training Center, a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is h~reby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />,"." --" '" "'-~" ->" <br />
