<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />\8-15-93) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />12051 <br /> <br />8/30/93 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has been established for <br /> <br />the principal purpose of providing a bilingual preschool program for <br />children and their parents in the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Education Center has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance for use by it in conducting its activities during <br /> <br />the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1993 and ending June 30, 1994; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> <br />desires to pay to the Community Education Center the sum of SIXTEEN- <br /> <br />THOUSAND AND NO/I00 DOLLARS ($16,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Community Education <br /> <br />Center and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve <br /> <br />the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-93), by and between <br />the City of Redwood City and Community Education Center, a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which <br />copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />"""--"-"-----"-"------"--- "- -"-" <br />
