<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />DES:djk 02/02/93 <br />2/8, .13 <br />11940 <br /> <br />(044/34) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />SERVICES FOR TANK REMOVAL, SOIL REMOVAL AND TESTING <br />SERVICES RELATING TO CITY CENTER PARKING STRUCTURE <br /> <br />(EVAX TECHNOLOGIES, INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires engineering and <br /> <br />proj ect management services for tank removal, <br /> <br />soil removal and <br /> <br />testing services at the City Center Parking Structure in the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />EVAX Technologies, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />Engineering and Project <br /> <br />Managers, <br /> <br />represents <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />qualified <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />basis <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />experience and expertise to perform the unique aforesaid services <br /> <br />required for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />Engineering <br /> <br />and proj ect Management <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Tank <br /> <br />Removal, <br /> <br />Soil <br /> <br />Removal <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Testing <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />Center <br /> <br />Parking <br /> <br />Structure", <br /> <br />( form dated <br /> <br />02/02/93) <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />and between <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> <br />and EVAX Technologies, <br /> <br />Inc., <br /> <br />of Scotts Valley, California, <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the performance of said services, a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved <br /> <br />and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to execute and to attest thereto, <br /> <br />respectively, <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />,-- -------""--"------.'-------'---'--""""'-"'.-'-""'- <br />
