<br />DES:d;k 02/01/93 <br /> <br />(042/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />2/8/93 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />11935 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1992-1993 COST SHARED <br />SIDEWALK REPAIR PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11927, adopted January <br /> <br />11, <br /> <br />1993, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the 1992-1993 <br /> <br />Cost Shared Sidewalk Repair Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />advertisement, <br /> <br />six <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, G. Bortolotto & Co., Foster City, California, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to G. Bortolotto Co.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />G. <br /> <br />Bortolotto <br /> <br />& <br /> <br />Co. , <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />amount <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Seventy-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Eighteen and 60/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($79,918.60), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />da ted January 27, <br /> <br />1992, <br /> <br />for the 1992-1993 Cost Shared Sidewalk <br /> <br />Repair Project, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />02/01/93) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />, ,--------_. .._-- ..-.... <br />
