<br />DES:djk 01/08/93 <br /> <br />(037/34) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11931 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR INTERIOR LANDSCAPING AND <br />IRRIGATION AT THE NEW POLICE FACILITY; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />written <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />without <br /> <br />public <br /> <br />advertisement <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />solicited <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />interior <br /> <br />landscaping and <br /> <br />irrigation <br /> <br />at <br /> <br />the New <br /> <br />Police Facility in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />solicitation <br /> <br />three <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the <br /> <br />Department of Community Development, Engineering Division; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Interior Plant Design, Inc., San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to accept the bid of said bidder; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Interior Plant Design, Inc., in the amount <br /> <br />of Sixteen Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-seven and No/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($16,897.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated December 23, 1992, for interior landscaping and irrigation <br /> <br />at the New Police Facility, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement" (form dated <br /> <br />01/08/93) by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California and Interior Plant Design, <br /> <br />Inc., providing for the aforesaid improvements, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />, ""0"_""'_"0'_"'_' <br />
