<br />DES:d;J-- ll/12/9l <br /> <br />(006/24) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />December 16, 1991 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />11659 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, CALIFORNIA, <br />RELATING TO INFORMATION AND REFERRAL PROGRAM <br /> <br />(FAIR OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City provides an information, <br /> <br />referral, assessment and material assistance program at the Fair <br /> <br />Oaks Community Center in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said program materially benefits residents of the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo as well as the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />have <br /> <br />heretofore entered into agreements pursuant to which the County <br /> <br />provides funds for said program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there has been presented to and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council such funding agreement for the fiscal year July 1, 1991 - <br /> <br />June 30, 1992; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Human <br /> <br />Services Programs" by and between the County of San Mateo and the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City pursuant to which the City shall provide an <br /> <br />information <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />referral <br /> <br />program <br /> <br />at <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Fair <br /> <br />Oaks <br /> <br />Community <br /> <br />Center for fiscal year July 1, <br /> <br />1991 - June 30, <br /> <br />1992, <br /> <br />and the <br /> <br />County shall fund said program, a copy of which agreement is on <br /> <br />file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> <br />hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br /> <br />and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />execute <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />agreement, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />attest <br /> <br />thereto, <br /> <br />respectively, for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />* * * <br /> <br />11659 <br />
