<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING AND DESIGN SERVICES <br /> <br />,. . 1"'- <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this l! ~ /' day of <br /> <br />(p ( Jv bE'Y' <br /> <br />, 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and ZEIGER <br /> <br />ENGINEERS, INC. of Oakland, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the preparation of construction documents to <br /> <br />modify existing electrical panels in the City's "essential facilities" (the "Facilities") <br /> <br />located at the Community Activities Building, the Fair Oaks Community Center <br /> <br />and the Veterans Senior Center to accept emergency portable generators in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting electrical engineering and design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES.
