<br />a RIG I N A L <br />-------- <br /> <br />DES:dft 1~/14/91R (011/31) <br />DES:dft' ~ll/91R <br />DES:djk 11/20/91R <br />12/2/91 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11648 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />AGREEMENT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES <br />DISABLED NONDISCRIMINATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />EXECUTION <br />RELATING <br /> <br />OF <br />TO <br /> <br />(MORTON FRANK, AIA) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has instituted a Disabled <br /> <br />Nondiscrimination <br /> <br />Program <br /> <br />which <br /> <br />includes <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />elimination <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />architectural <br /> <br />features <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />City-owned <br /> <br />facilities <br /> <br />which present <br /> <br />barriers to access to such facilities for disabled persons; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with said program the City requires <br /> <br />expert professional <br /> <br />architectural <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />investigate <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />identify such access barriers and to present recommendations for <br /> <br />the elimination thereof; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Morton <br /> <br />Frank, <br /> <br />AIA, <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />represented <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />he <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />experienced and qualified to perform said expert professional <br /> <br />services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement for Architectural <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />Disabled <br /> <br />Nondiscrimination <br /> <br />Program" <br /> <br />(form <br /> <br />dated <br /> <br />ll/20/91R) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City a municipal <br /> <br />corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br />and Morton Frank AlA, <br /> <br />pursuant to which said Architect <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />investigate City-owned <br /> <br />facilities <br /> <br />and prepare <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />report wi th <br /> <br />recommendations <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />removal of architectural barriers to access thereto by disabled <br /> <br />persons, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of <br /> <br />the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the <br />
