DES:cb 1QL16/91 (035/30) a RIG I N A L 10/21/91 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 11623 ----------- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR MEZES AND SPINAS PARKS PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT; DETERMINING LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER FOR FURNISHING SAID EQUIPMENT; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS; AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.65 of the Code of the City of Redwood City, upon direction, the City Clerk advertised for bids for furnishing, and optionally installing, playground equipment at Mezes and Spinas Parks in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, two bids were received; and WHEREAS, the bid of Ross Recreation Equipment Company, Inc., of Novato, California, is the lower responsible bid and this Council desires to accept said bid; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of Ross Recreation Equipment Company, Inc., of Novato, California, in the amount of Sixty Seven Thousand, six Hundred Seventy-six Dollars ($67,676.00) , for furnishing playground equipment for Mezes and Spinas Parks set forth as Items 1 and 2 in said bidder's bid proposal dated October 9, 1991 and for the installation of said equipment at Spinas Park, only, set forth as Item 4 in said bid proposal is, and each of said items are, hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said equipment.
