DES:djk 10/07/9l (099/28) 0 RIG I N A L Iv/21/91 RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. 11622 ---------- RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR MEDIAN RETAINING WALL RECONSTRUCTION ON ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS BETWEEN VERA AVENUE AND CHESHIRE WAY PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK ¡ AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11585 adopted August 26, 1991, the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Median Retaining Wall Reconstruction on Alameda de las Pulgas between Vera Avenue and Cheshire Way Project; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, nine bids were received for the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, B & B Concrete Construction Company, Inc. , San Jose, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of said bidder; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of B & B Construction Company, Inc. , in the amount of Seventy-eight Thousand Eight Hundred and No/lOa Dollars ($78,800.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated September 24, 1991, for the Median Retaining Wall Reconstruction on Alameda de las Pulgas between Vera Avenue and Cheshire Way Project, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. ---_.~._._~_._-- -"
