<br />DES:dft <br /> <br />9/25/91 (OlO/3l) <br />'07/91R <br /> <br />10/7 /91 <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11617 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR MATERIALS TESTING AND CONSTRUCTION <br />INSPECTION SERVICES RELATING TO NEW POLICE FACILITY <br /> <br />(CONSOLIDATED ENGINEERING LABORATORIES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />proceeding <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />construction of a new police facility (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires <br /> <br />expert materials testing and construction inspection services and <br /> <br />related activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Consolidated <br /> <br />Engineering <br /> <br />Laboratories, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Pleasanton, California, represents that it is qualified, on the <br /> <br />basis <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />experience <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />expertise, <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />perform <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforesaid <br /> <br />unique professional services required for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />for Materials <br /> <br />Testing <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Construction <br /> <br />Inspection <br /> <br />Services <br /> <br />New <br /> <br />Police <br /> <br />Facility" ) <br /> <br />(form dated <br /> <br />10/07/91R) <br /> <br />by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br /> <br />and Consolidated Engineering Laboratories - Pleasanton, San Jose, <br /> <br />for the above-described services for the Project; a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, <br />is hereby approved and the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby <br /> <br />authorized <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />directed <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />execute <br /> <br />and <br />
