<br />DES:djk lO/02/9l <br /> <br />(097/28) <br /> <br />a RIG I N A L <br /> <br />10/7 /91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11613 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />MUNICIPAL SERVICES CENTER GROUND CONTAMINATION <br />INVESTIGATION <br /> <br />(WAHLER ASSOCIATES) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />requires <br /> <br />professional <br /> <br />environmental <br /> <br />engineering <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />investigation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />subsurface and groundwater contamination in specified areas of <br /> <br />the Municipal Services Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wahler Associates, Consulting Engineers, represents <br /> <br />that they are qualified to perform such services and this Council <br /> <br />desires to enter into an agreement therefor; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />agreement <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement <br /> <br />Environmental Engineering Services <br /> <br />- Municipal <br /> <br />Services Center <br /> <br />Ground Contamination Investigation" <br /> <br />(form dated lO/O2/9l) by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Wahler <br /> <br />Associates, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Palo <br /> <br />Alto, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />performance <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />above-described <br /> <br />professional services, a copy of which agreement is on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the <br /> <br />City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute and to attest thereto, respectively, <br /> <br />said agreement for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />.-.---.. -'T"-'~- <br />
