<br />DES:dft <br /> <br />9/19/91 (007/31) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N 0.11610 <br /> <br />9/23/91 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE REDWOOD CITY-SAN MATEO <br />COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, RELATING TO THE GENERAL <br />DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF LOCAL INDUSTRY AND <br />COMMERCE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City-San <br /> <br />Mateo <br /> <br />County <br /> <br />Chamber <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />commerce has requested the City of Redwood City to contribute <br /> <br />certain monies during the fiscal year July 1, <br /> <br />1991 - June 30, <br /> <br />1992, for the maintenance and improvement of the economy of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City by the general development and promotion of <br /> <br />local industry and commerce in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the Council to <br /> <br />authorize the execution of an agreement by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber of <br /> <br />Commerce providing for a payment of Thirty Thousand and No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($30,000.00) to the Redwood City-San Mateo County Chamber <br /> <br />of Commerce by the City of Redwood City for such above stated <br /> <br />purposes for the fiscal year July 1, 1991 - June 30, 1991; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 9/l8/9l), by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and the Redwood City-San Mateo County <br /> <br />Chamber <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Commerce <br /> <br />relating <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />general <br /> <br />development <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />promotion of local industry and commerce in the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is presently on <br /> <br />file <br /> <br />in the <br /> <br />. ._._.......,......~_.-. ...+ <br />
