<br />ù RIG I N A L <br /> <br />9/16/91 <br /> <br />R E ~ 0 L UTI 0 N. <br /> <br />11597 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH HUMAN INVESTMENT PROJECTS, INC. FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF HOUSING DEVELOPMENT (HILTON PROJECT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. is presently engaged in the operation <br /> <br />of a Shared Housing Program and desires to construct a housing development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Human Investment Project, Inc. has requested financial assistance in <br /> <br />order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during the fiscal year commencing <br /> <br />July 1, 1991, and ending June 30, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Human Investment Project, Inc. the sum of $70,000.00 from its Community <br /> <br />Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Human Investment Project, Inc., and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 9/12/91), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Human Investment Project, Inc., a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby <br /> <br />approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* **** <br /> <br />r-""O ..~ '.T <br />
