<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />9/16/91 <br /> <br />R E ~ 0 L U T ! 0 N. <br /> <br />11595 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WI1H CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE <br />DISABLED <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled is presently engaged in <br /> <br />the operation of a Housing Accessibility Modification Program and desires to conduct a <br /> <br />housing accessibility modification program for residents of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled has requested financial <br /> <br />assistance in order to conduct such a program for residents of the City during the fiscal year <br /> <br />commencing July 1, 1991, and ending June 30, 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Center for the Independence of the Disabled the sum of Eighteen Thousand and <br /> <br />No/lOO Dollars ($18,000.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an agreement <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City and Center for the Independence of the Disabled, and <br /> <br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 09112/91), by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Center for the Independence of the Disabled, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars <br /> <br />thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />T'- . --I <br />
