<br />DES:cb <br /> <br />8/20/91 <br /> <br />(019/30) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/26/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 11585 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR MEDIAN RETAINING <br />WALL RECONSTRUCTION-ALAMEDA DE LAS PULGAS BETWEEN VERA <br />AVENUE AND CHESHIRE WAY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, plans and specifications for the reconstruction of <br /> <br />the median retaining wall on Alameda de Las Pulgas, between Vera <br /> <br />Avenue and Cheshire Way, in the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />have been <br /> <br />prepared by the Department of Community Development and submitted <br /> <br />to, and reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />approve <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />plans <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />specifications <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />authorize <br /> <br />advertisement <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />construction of said improvements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Those <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Contract <br /> <br />Documents <br /> <br />& <br /> <br />Specifications <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />Median <br /> <br />Retaining <br /> <br />Wall <br /> <br />Reconstruction on Alameda de Las Pulgas, between Vera Avenue and <br /> <br />Cheshire Way, <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />Californiall, <br /> <br />providing for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />reconstruction <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />retaining wall <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />furnishing <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />materials, equipment and supplies which are necessary to complete <br /> <br />the work thereunder, a copy of which bid documents are on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for the full particulars thereof, are hereby approved, and <br /> <br />the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for <br /> <br />bids for said project. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-----.---- ----y--.--.-' <br />
