<br />DES:dft <br /> <br />R/2/91 <br /> <br />(012/30) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />8/12/91 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11583 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE RED MORTON COMMUNITY <br />PARK, 49ER/KIWANIS FIELD RENOVATION PROJECT AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING <br />RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> <br />11546 adopted June 24, <br /> <br />1991, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Ci ty Clerk <br /> <br />advertised <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Red Morton <br /> <br />Community Park, 4ger/Kiwanis Field Renovation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />advertisement, <br /> <br />seven bids were <br /> <br />received for the performance of said work and filed with the City <br /> <br />Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Valley Crest Landscape, Inc., of Pleasanton, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Valley Crest Landscape, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Valley Crest Landscape, Inc., in the amount <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />E'our <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Twenty-Five <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Sixty-three <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />No/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($425,063.00), computed in accordance with said bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated July 22, 1991 for the Red Morton Community Park, <br /> <br />4ger/Kiwanis Field Renovation, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for said work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled IIAgreementll (form dated <br /> <br />8/2/91) <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City, <br /> <br />a municipal <br /> <br />corporation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Valley <br /> <br />Crest <br /> <br />Landscape, <br /> <br />Inc. , <br /> <br />a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br />in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />",.----- ---'--'y-- - <br />
