<br />OR\G I NAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br />TRAFFIC STUDY/ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br />FOR 1061 DOUGLAS AVENUE 4 <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into thiS1ß. day of ~, <br /> <br />2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a muniCiPal" ~rporation <br /> <br />of the State of California, ("City"), and PARSONS TRANSPORTATION GROUP, <br /> <br />INC. of San Jose, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br /> <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed development of a new five- <br /> <br />story office building with a total square footage of approximately 160,000 square <br /> <br />feet and an adjacent five-level parking structure on a 112,470 square foot site on <br /> <br />a site currently occupied by older industrial uses. The site is located at 1061 <br /> <br />Douglas Avenue in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br /> <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br /> <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br /> <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, City has determined that the <br /> <br />traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and documentation shall <br /> <br />Agmt-385 <br />F: S h a red/Redwood/Cou nei I <br />FXS:djk <br />08/07/00 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />----.--.- r <br />
