<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />,):~S:djk Oh/12/91 <br />6/24/91 <br /> <br />(076/28) <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11533 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE SALE OF ONE (1) 1973 <br />VAN PELT FIRE PUMPER TRUCK; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF SALE DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to <br /> <br />Resolution <br /> <br />11507, <br /> <br />adopt,ed April <br /> <br />15, <br /> <br />1991, <br /> <br />t.his Council declared one <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />1973 Van Pelt Fire Pumper <br /> <br />Truck surplus property, and authorized advertisement for bids for <br /> <br />the sale thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, one bid had been <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Grenada <br /> <br />Fire <br /> <br />Protection <br /> <br />District. , <br /> <br />Grenada, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />highest <br /> <br />responsible <br /> <br />bidder <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intention and desire of t.his Council to accept the bid of the <br /> <br />Grenada Fire Protection District; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The sole bid of the Grenada Fire Protection District, <br /> <br />Grenada, California, for the purchase of one <br /> <br />( 1) <br /> <br />1973 Van Pelt <br /> <br />Fire Pumper Truck for a total bid price of Five Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />($5,000.00) <br /> <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />postmarked June <br /> <br />11, <br /> <br />1991, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted; <br /> <br />said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the highest responsible bidder, <br /> <br />and this Council hereby finds that said bid is equal to or higher <br /> <br />than ninety percent (90%) of the appraised value thereof. <br />
