<br />DES:djk 04/12/91 <br /> <br />(069/28) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />4/22/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 11510 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />---- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE STREET TREE MAINTENANCE PROJECT 1991-92 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />there has been presented to and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />plans <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />specifications <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Comprehensive <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />Tree Maintenance Project 1991-92, as prepared by the Director of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City's <br /> <br />Department <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Parks, <br /> <br />Recreation <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Community <br /> <br />Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />Council <br /> <br />desires <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />approve <br /> <br />said plans <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />specifications and to authorize the advertisement for bids for <br /> <br />furnishing said work and supplies in connection therewith; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Those <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />entitled <br /> <br />"Comprehensive <br /> <br />Street <br /> <br />Tree <br /> <br />Main t.enance <br /> <br />Project <br /> <br />1991-92", <br /> <br />providing for street tree planting, pruning and removal services, <br /> <br />and furnishing all materials, equipment and apparatus which are <br /> <br />necessary to complet.e the work hereunder, <br /> <br />a copy of which bid <br /> <br />documents are on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, <br /> <br />are hereby approved, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />direct.ed <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />advertise <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />bids <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />furnishing <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />services and supplies. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />---"""~"1r- <br />
