<br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />DES:djk 04/04/91 (030/27) <br />DES:djk ~/16/91R <br />4/22/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />11509 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR 1990-91 SIDEWALK REPAIR <br />AND TREE PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br />DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Resolution No.11481 adopted February <br /> <br />25, 1991, the City Clerk called for bids for the Sidewalk Repair <br /> <br />and Tree Program for 1990-1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, seven bids were received for <br /> <br />the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, P & F Construction, Inc., Oakland, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest. responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to P & F Construction, Inc. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of P & F Construction, Inc., in the amount of <br /> <br />Three <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Fifty-nine <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Six <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Sixty-nine <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />49/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($359,669.49), computed in accordance with said <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated March 26, 1991 for the 1990-91 Sidewalk <br /> <br />Repair and Tree Program, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled <br /> <br />"Agreement - <br /> <br />1990-91 <br /> <br />Sidewalk Repair and Tree Program (form dated 04/16/91R) <br /> <br />by and <br /> <br />between the City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation of the <br /> <br />State of California and P & F Construction, Inc, a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />~. -lr- <br />
