<br />;);,\L:djk 0"/19/91 <br /> <br />(066/28) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />MAR 2 5 1991 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11495 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LEASE OF CITY OWNED <br />PROPERTY LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE INTERSECTION OF CEDAR <br />STREET AND HILTON STREET; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />LEASE AGREEMENT FOR SAID PREMISES (HUMAN INVESTMENT <br />PROJECT, INC.) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 11487, adopted February <br /> <br />25, 1991, the City Clerk called for bids for the lease of City <br /> <br />owned real property located adjacent to the intersection of Cedar <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Hilt.on <br /> <br />Streets, <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />operation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />home <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />affordable <br /> <br />shared <br /> <br />living; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Human <br /> <br />Investment <br /> <br />Project, <br /> <br />Inc., <br /> <br />San <br /> <br />Mateo, <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />highest <br /> <br />responsible <br /> <br />bidder <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Human Investment. proj ect., Inc; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Human Investment Project, Inc., dated March <br /> <br />13, <br /> <br />1991, <br /> <br />including <br /> <br />certificates <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />experience <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />financial <br /> <br />capability and non-profit status, for the lease of the premises <br /> <br />described in, and according to those, certain bid document sand <br /> <br />lease agreement entitled IILease Agreementll <br /> <br />(form dated 02/18/91) <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the highest responsible bidder for said lease. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />The Mayor <br /> <br />and City Clerk are hereby authorized <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />directed t.o execute, and to attest. thereto, respectively, <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />lease agreement. for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />'T'-'" <br />
