<br />DES:djk 12/20/90 <br /> <br />(050/28) <br /> <br />0 RIG I N A L <br /> <br />1/7/91 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />11463 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR ONE (1) TRACTOR MOWER AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS IN <br />CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Clerk has caused to be published a public <br /> <br />notice inviting bids for the purchase of one (1) tractor mower in <br /> <br />a newspaper of general circulation within the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />notice, <br /> <br />three <br /> <br />(3 ) <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />were <br /> <br />received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, West Star Distributing, <br /> <br />Hayward, California, <br /> <br />is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to accept the bid of said company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of West Star Distributing, Hayward, California <br /> <br />for one <br /> <br />( 1) <br /> <br />tractor mower at a total bid price not to exceed <br /> <br />Twelve <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Eight <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Sixty-eight <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />93/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($12,868.93) <br /> <br />computed in accordance with said bidder's proposal <br /> <br />dated December 4, 1990, is hereby accepted; said bidder is hereby <br /> <br />found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> <br />tractor mower. <br /> <br />') <br />.... <br /> <br />The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute <br /> <br />such <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />orders <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />other <br /> <br />appropriate <br /> <br />purchase <br /> <br />documents <br /> <br />(in <br /> <br />form approved by <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City Attorney) <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />behalf <br /> <br />- ---lr-- <br />
