MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />November 13, 2017 <br />MO. 17-201 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: November 14, 2017 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />**hard copy available upon request** <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract — National Guard Armory Building Parking Lot <br />Improvements Project <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1A (304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on November 13, 2017. <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Masur, Vice Mayor Bain, and <br />Mayor Seybert <br />M/S Aguirre/Gee to approve the Consent Calendar. <br />By Motion: <br />Approve the contract documents and award the standard form contract for the National <br />Guard Armory Building Parking Lot Improvements Project to Silicon Valley Paving, Inc. of <br />San Jose, California for their responsive and responsible low bid in the amount of $401, 379; <br />1.) Authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% <br />above the contract amount; and <br />2.) Find that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental <br />Quality Act (CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Sections 15302 (Replacement or <br />Reconstruction), and 15332 (In -Fill Development Projects). <br />Motion carried 6-0 with Council Member Howard absent. <br />C(;�?
