MINUTE ORDER <br />JOINT CITY COUNCIL / SUCCESSOR AGENCY BOARD <br />PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY MEETING <br />November 27, 2017 <br />MO. 17-215 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br />Date: November 28, 2017 <br />Attention: City Attorney <br />Community Development Director <br />**hard copy available upon request** <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract - Caltrain Grade Crossing Improvements - Section 130 <br />Program Project <br />AGENDA ITEM: 7.113(304) <br />Meeting of the Joint City Council/Successor Agency Board/Public Financing Authority <br />Meeting on November 27, 2017. <br />Present: Council Members Aguirre, Borgens, Gee, Howard, Masur, Vice Mayor Bain, and <br />Mayor Seybert <br />M/S Aguirre/Seybert to approve the Consent Calendar. <br />By motion, to approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the contract documents <br />and award the standard form construction contract (Section 00520) for the Caltrain Grade <br />Crossing Improvements Section 130 Program Project to Granite Rock Company of San Jose, <br />California, for their responsive low bid of $841,360, and authorize the City Manager to <br />increase the contract amount, if necessary, up to 10% above the contract amount, and find <br />that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) under CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (Existing Facilities). <br />Motion <br />�carried <br />�unanimously by roll call vote. <br />Pamela Aguilar, MC <br />City Clerk <br />
