<br />Jun 22 05 10:02a <br /> <br />Leo Tamisiea <br /> <br />(?-:1t:¡) 846-7162 <br /> <br />p.2 <br /> <br />FINAL SETTLEMENT <br /> <br />AGREEMENT AND GENERAL RELEASE <br /> <br />This FINAL SETI'LEMENT AGREEMENT AND GENERAL RELEASE <br /> <br /> <br />(hereinafter "Releasetl) is by the Redwood City POA representing ERIN HOGAN <br /> <br /> <br />(hereinafter "HOGAN"), and CITY OF REDWOOD CITY (hereinafter "CITY"), referred <br /> <br />to collectively in this agreement as "The Parties" . <br /> <br />WHEREAS The Redwood City POA, on behalf of HOGAN, filed a grievance <br />under Section 17 of the applicable MOU allegin.g that HOGAN had been denied certain <br /> <br />benefits and compensation in her employment ("The Grievance"); <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Parties wish to fully and :finally settle all issues arising out of The <br /> <br />Grievance; <br /> <br />IT IS THEREFORE agreed by the Parties as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Consideration. <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Within ten (10) business days of executing this Agreement, the <br /> <br />CITY shall issue HOGAN payment in the amount of two thousand two hundred ninety <br /> <br />six dollars and twenty seven cents ($2,296.27). <br /> <br />b. <br /> <br />HOGAN acknowledges and agrees that the CITY has made no <br /> <br />representations to her regarding the tax consequences of any amounts received by her <br /> <br />pursuant to this Agreement( HOGAN agrees to pay all federal, state and local taxes, if <br /> <br />any, which are required by law to be paid with respect to the settlement proceeds received <br />pursuant to this Agreement. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />General Release. Except as provided herein, Hogan hereby releases and <br /> <br />forever discharges the CITY, its present and past insurers, directors, managers, officers, <br /> <br />._- lr. <br />
