<br />OR I ~~!lJ Al <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br />FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this l1Þ--- day of <br /> <br />'J!~~ <br /> <br />, 1999, by and between the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF <br /> <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ("Agency"), a public body, corporate and politic, <br />and NEWFIELDS WEST ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Agency requires professional consulting services for the <br /> <br />Franklin Street Project in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform all of those <br /> <br />services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein. All work to be performed by Consultant hereunder shall <br /> <br />require written authorization from Agency prior to the commencement of said <br /> <br />work. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT. Agency shall compensate <br /> <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount <br /> <br />based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br /> <br />performance of said services.
