<br />DES:djk (\r;/25/95 <br /> <br />(006/68) <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />A G R E E MEN T <br /> <br />--------- <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATORY REVIEW SERVICES - REDWOOD <br />SHORES LEVEE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, <br /> <br />made <br /> <br />and entered <br /> <br />. ~2~J <br />into this . ¿ day of <br /> <br />ßv 5 ~çt- <br /> <br />1995, <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />between <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />OF <br /> <br />REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />municipal <br /> <br />corporation <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />State <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />California, <br /> <br />("City"), and HUFFMAN & ASSOCIATES, INC. of Larkspur, California <br /> <br />("Consultant") ; <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />proposes <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />improve <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />Shores <br /> <br />Exterior Levee in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />~vHEREAS , <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />connection <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Project, <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />requires <br /> <br />environmental regulatory review services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Consultant <br /> <br />represents <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />possesses <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />experience, and is qualified, to perform the aforesaid services <br /> <br />for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />CONSULTANT'S <br /> <br />SERVICES. <br /> <br />Consultant <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />perform <br /> <br />environmental regulatory review and related services described in <br /> <br />Exhibit <br /> <br />"A" <br /> <br />hereof, <br /> <br />attached <br /> <br />hereto <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />by <br /> <br />this <br /> <br />reference <br /> <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in <br /> <br />an amount based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are currently <br /> <br />prevailing during the time of the performance of said services. <br /> <br />Consultant's hourly rates for which services hereunder shall be <br />
