(8-15-92) <br /> O R I G I N A L R(12-15-92) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11922 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH POPLAR CENTER <br /> WHEREAS, Poplar Center, has been established for the principal purpose <br /> of providing service to the developmentally disabled that help them reach <br /> their maximum educational , social and vocational potential ; and <br /> WHEREAS, Poplar Center, has requested financial assistance for <br /> use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to Poplar Center the sum of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FORTY <br /> AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($2,940.00) , and; <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Poplar Center <br /> and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92) , by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and Poplar Center, copy of which agreement is on <br /> file in the office of the City Clerk to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br />
