DES:d'ik 12/10/92 (031/34) <br /> O R I G I N A L 12/21/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11920 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF <br /> ONE (1) XEROX 5052 COPIER UNDER THE COOPERATIVE <br /> PURCHASE PROVISIONS OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES BID <br /> BPA #010580105 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Redwood City Code Section 2 . 80 the City <br /> of Redwood City may request any local agency as defined by <br /> Section 54201 of the California Government Code to purchase <br /> materials, equipment, or supplies on behalf of the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles , Bid BPA #010580105 <br /> includes a Cooperative Purchase Provision which offers other <br /> public agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment from Xerox <br /> Corporation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the aforesaid bid of the County of Los Angeles <br /> conforms to the requirements of Redwood City Code Section 2 .80; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> purchase one (1) Xerox 5052 Copier from Xerox Corporation <br /> pursuant to the Cooperative Purchase Provision of the County of <br /> Los Angeles Bid BPA #010580105; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all necessary and appropriate documents for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City for the purchase of one (1) Xerox <br /> 5052 Copier from Xerox Corporation for a cost of Thirteen <br /> Thousand Three Hundred Eighty and No/100 Dollars ($13 ,380 . 00) <br />
