DES:d'.k 12/07/92 (028/34) O R I G I N A L 12/14/92 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11919 RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR PREPARATION OF AN INITIAL STUDY AND RELATED SERVICES FOR PROPOSED PACIFIC SHORES CENTER PROJECT (CERTIFIED/EARTH METRICS) WHEREAS, Pacific Shores Center Limited Partnership ("Developer") , has submitted a proposal for the development of approximately 116 acres into a 1 . 5 million square foot office park center (the "Project") located in the County of San Mateo in the vicinity of the easterly terminus of Seaport Boulevard in the City of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of environmental studies and documentation is required; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the City' s regulations, implementive of the California Environmental Quality Act ( "CEQA") , the Director of Planning has determined that an Initial Study and related services pertaining to the Project shall be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with a consultant subject to funding therefor by the Developer; and WHEREAS , the Developer has deposited with City the estimated fees and costs to be incurred pursuant to said agreement; and WHEREAS, CERTIFIED/Earth Metrics of Brisbane, California represents that it is qualified on the basis of experience and expertise to perform the aforesaid consulting services required for the Project;
