O R I G I N A L (8-15-92) <br /> (12-21-92) <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 11909 12/14/92 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> WITH YOUTH AND FAMILY ASSISTANCE (SOUTH COUNTY DIVERSION PROGRAM) <br /> WHEREAS, Youth & Family Assistance (South County Diversion <br /> Program) has been established for the principal purpose of diverting <br /> youth from the Juvenile Justice system and to provide a delinquency <br /> prevention capability for families and agencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, Youth & Family Assistance (South County Diversion Program) <br /> has requested financial assistance for use by it in conducting its <br /> activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1,1992 and ending <br /> June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> desires to pay Youth & Family Assistance (South County Diversion <br /> Program) the sum of THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY AND <br /> NO/100 DOLLARS ($31,390.00) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and Youth & Family Assistance <br /> (South County Diversion Program) and it is the intention and desire of <br /> this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92) , by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and the Youth & Family Assistance (South <br /> County Diversion Program) copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for <br /> full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> of the City of Redwood City. <br />
