O R I G I N A L (8-15-92) <br /> RESOLUTION N O. 11908 12/14/92 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH TARGET EDUCATION AND WELFARE <br /> COUNCIL, INC. (FAIR OAKS SENIOR CENTER) <br /> WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council , Inc. (Fair Oaks <br /> Senior Center) has been established for the principal purpose of <br /> providing a multipurpose Senior Center; and <br /> WHEREAS, Target Education and Welfare Council , Inc. (Fair Oaks <br /> Senior Center) has requested financial assistance for use by it <br /> in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay Target Education and Welfare Council , Inc. (Fair Oaks <br /> Senior Center) the sum of FORTY THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY AND <br /> NO/100 DOLLARS ($40,770.00) ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval <br /> and agreement between the City of Redwood City and Target Education <br /> and Welfare Council , Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior Center) and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to approve the same: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS; <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92), by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and Target Education and Welfare Council <br /> Inc. (Fair Oaks Senior Center), a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby <br /> made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br /> Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for <br /> and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />
