O R I G I N A L (8-15-92) <br /> RESOLUTION N O. 11904 12/14/92 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO - RETIRED SENIOR VOLUNTEER <br /> PROGRAM (R.S.V.P.) <br /> WHEREAS, the the County of San Mateo, Aging and Adult Services, <br /> Retired Senior Volunteer Program has been established for the principal <br /> purpose of providing volunteer placement services for senior citizens in the <br /> City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo, Aging and Adult Services, <br /> Retired Senior Volunteer Program has requested financial assistance for use <br /> by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to the County of San Mateo, Aging and Adult Services, <br /> Retired Senior Volunteer Program the sum of TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED <br /> AND FORTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($2,940.00); and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and the County of San Mateo, <br /> Aging and Adult Services, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and it is the <br /> intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92), by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and San Mateo County, Aging and Adult Services <br /> Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.), a copy of which agreement is on <br /> file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> for full authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the <br /> City of Redwood City. <br />
