(8-15-92) <br /> O R I G I N A L 12/14/92 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11900 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH HISPANOS UNIDOS <br /> WHEREAS, Hispanos Unidos has been established for the principal <br /> purpose of advocating for the charitable, educational advancement, welfare, <br /> protection, guidance and representation of Hispanic groups in the City of <br /> Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hispanos Unidos, has requested financial assistance for use <br /> by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> desires to pay to Hispanos Unidos the sum of FIVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND <br /> NO/100 DOLLARS ($5,100.00) and; <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and Hispanos Unidos and it is <br /> the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92), by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and Hispanos Unidos a copy of which agreement <br /> is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy reference is <br /> hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the <br /> City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the same for and on <br /> behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br />
