(8-15-92) <br /> O R I G I N A L 12/14/92 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11899 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br /> AGREEMENT WITH FRIENDS FOR YOUTH, INC. <br /> WHEREAS, Friends For Youth has been established for the principal <br /> purpose of providing volunteer intervention services to troubled youth <br /> in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Friends For Youth, Inc. has requested financial assistance <br /> for use by it in conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing <br /> July 1, 1992 and ending June 30, 1993; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and <br /> desires to pay to Friends For Youth, Inc. the sum of THREE THOUSAND SIXTY <br /> AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($3,060.00) and; <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> agreement between the City of Redwood City and Friends For Youth, Inc. <br /> and it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8-15-92), by and between <br /> the City of Redwood City and Friends For Youth, Inc. , a copy of which <br /> agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which copy <br /> reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, <br /> and the City Manager is authorized and directed to execute the same <br /> for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br />
