DES:'4k 11/09/92 (019/34) <br /> O R I G I N A L 11/23/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11890 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR PURCHASE OF SIX VEHICLES; <br /> AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> THEREFOR <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 . 65 of the <br /> Code of the City of Redwood City, the City Manager caused public <br /> notice inviting bids to be published for the purchase of six (6) <br /> vehicles to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said publication four bids were <br /> received; and <br /> WHEREAS, S & C Motors, Inc. of San Francisco, California is <br /> the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> of this Council to accept the bid thereof; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . The bid of S & C Motors, Inc. , of San Francisco, <br /> California, in the total amount of Eighty-four Thousand Three <br /> Hundred Eighty-nine and 56/100 Dollars ($84 , 389 .56) , computed in <br /> accordance with said bidder' s proposal dated October 20 , 1992 , <br /> for the sale of six (6) vehicles which bid is on file in the <br /> office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for <br /> the full particulars thereof, is hereby accepted, and said bidder <br /> is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> for the sale of said vehicles to the City. <br /> 2 . Any and all informalities in the aforementioned bid of <br /> said S & C Motors, Inc. are, and each of them is, hereby waived. <br />
