<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />Service League of San Mateo County <br /> <br />Hope House 1 - Bathroom Remodel <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this )$day of ~, <br /> <br /> <br />2005, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation <br /> <br /> <br />of the State of California ("City") and Service League of San Mateo County, a California <br /> <br />nonprofit organization ("Contractor") (collectively the "Parties"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor desires to renovate/improve their facilities (the "Project), <br /> <br />located at Hope House 1 - 3789 Hoover, Redwood City, California, which provides <br /> <br />Residential and Substance abuse populations who are individuals released from penal <br /> <br />institutions and who are residents of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to complete the <br />Project that will benefit residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2005, and <br /> <br />ending June 30, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and the Project and desires to allocate to <br />Contractor the sum of Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000) Development Block for the <br /> <br />Hope House I Project and Ten Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($10,000) from it's Community <br />Grant funds. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the Parties hereby agree as follows: <br /> <br />9/11 /03 <br />
