Chutz, -Louise Tornell, Catherine Brennan, Stan Sugarman and Jim~Slo- <br />bodian. Staff members peresent were Pasco Balzarini and Wm. Shewry. <br /> <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />Minutes of March 6,1962 meeting were approved as mailed. <br /> <br />PERSONAL APPEAR~~CE: <br /> <br />Councilman Bill Royer presented a plan for Friendly Acres Recreational <br />facilities. lIe asked for Commission's recommendation on the plan. <br /> <br />CORRES P01~DE~ CE: <br /> <br />A letter from Peninsula Parks and Recreation Council stating that dues <br />would be ~5.o0 per ~ar. <br /> <br />MSC: That the letter be filed. <br /> <br />Chart of use of Veteran's Memorial Building is being kept so stated <br />Pasc 0 13alzarini. <br /> <br />Friendly Acres Recreational Facilities: Chairman Alyn Beals reappointed <br />the same members who were on the committee on Friendly Acres study, Jim <br />T\necht, Chairman, Jim Slobodian, to represent tIle Comm.is si on; Red ~r1orton <br />of Recreation Department; Pasco Balzarini of Park Department. This <br />co~ittee is to study the plan that~was submitted to the commission by <br />Councilman Royer for their recommendation. <br /> <br />'" <br /> <br />Budget for 1962-63 for Park Department was submitted t a the cormnission <br />by Pasco Balzarini for their information. <br /> <br />MSC that the Commission again write a letter to the City ~~angger regard- <br />ing the rest rooms at Community Park, and why these facilitìes have not, <br />been completed before the s~~mer program gets underway. <br /> <br />Catherine Brennan stated that the Rose Show will be held on April 28-29 <br />at Veteran t s ~lemorial Builài.ng.
