I, 1967 7:30 p.m. Community Activities Bldg. 1400 Roosevelt Ave. The regular monthly meeting was called to order by Chairman Rob- ert Whitmore at 7:30 p.m. on November I, 1967. ON ROLL CALL, the following Commissioners were noted present: Chairman Whitmore, Dixon Arnett, Ann Gooding, James Knecht, Doris Thompson and Jim Williams. Absent and excused: Jack Stuart. Also present: Director of Recreation, Alfred Morton: Super- intendent of Parks, Pasco Balzarini, Recreation Supervisor, Bill Paulsonr and Lee Massman, stenographer. MINUTES of the meeting of Oct. 4th were approved as mailed. CORRESPONDENCE: 1. For the record, Secretary Thompson acknowledged receipt of letter from City Manager-Ullrich under date of Sept. 12 and enclosing copy of report to Council by the Ad Hoc Committee and its recommendations for Park Dedication policy in Redwood Shores1 2. From City Manager Ullrich, under date of Oct. 23, letter acknowledging Commission request for agendas and minutes of Planning Commission meetings to be sent to each Comm- issioner and advising that the Planning Director has been . , asked to comply with our request: 3. Copy of speed letter dated Oct. 25, from City Manager to Director of Public Works re making or puchasing suffici- ent number of "No Dogs Permittedll signs and suggesting that Mr. Balzarini be contacted on number needed. 4. 5. The Commission suggested that Mr. Balzarini go ahead with a "temporary" type sign which could be replaced at a later date when the City adopts a city-wide signing program. Monthly report, October, from Park Department. Copies of minutes of S.M.County Parks and Recreation Commission meeting No. 444, Oct. II, 1967, delivered through courtesy of Mr. Balzarini.
