— 11/13/00 <br />0 R IG I NAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14087 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A <br />PORTION OF MAPLE STREET (FROM LATHROP TO EL <br />CAMINO REAL) AND A PORTION OF FRANKLIN STREET <br />(FROM MAPLE TO MONROE) <br />WHEREAS, the construction of 191 residential units is scheduled to begin <br />within the next few weeks within the Franklin Area Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the construction will occur in the area bounded by El Camino <br />Real and the Caltrans railroad tracks, and Maple Street and Monroe Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the health, safety and general welfare of the general public <br />requires that a portion of Maple Street and a portion of Franklin Street be <br />temporality closed to vehicular traffic to allow construction of residential units <br />within the Franklin Area Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />The closure of that portion of Maple Street, from Lathrop Street to El <br />Camino Real and that portion of Franklin Street, from Maple Street to Monroe <br />Street, to vehicular traffic from November 15, 2000, to January 30, 2002, is <br />hereby approved. <br />Reso -1028 <br />F: /Sh/sh/R edwood/Council <br />FXS:fs <br />10/30/00 <br />
