<br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING ENGINEERING AND DESIGN <br />SERVICES - GARFIELD CHARTER SCHOOL SPORTS FIELD <br />RENOVATION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~ day of <br />~ ,2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and BEALS SPORTS <br /> <br />COLLABORATIVE of San Jose, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires the improvements of Garfield Charter School <br /> <br />playing field in the unincorporated area of San Mateo County (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br /> <br />consulting engineering and design services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br />is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform consulting <br /> <br />engineering and design services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. COMPENSATION: EXPENSES: PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount <br /> <br />based upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the <br /> <br />performance of said services.
