DES:d'k 10/13/92 (008/34) <br /> ORIGINAL J/19/92 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 11865 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF ONE TAPE LOGGING <br /> MACHINE AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS <br /> IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Section 2 . 76 of the Redwood City Code, <br /> this Council has suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br /> Chapter 2 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to <br /> competitive bidding for the hereinafter described purchase; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Department requires one digital tape <br /> logging device for the emergency dispatch center at the new <br /> police facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the purchase of <br /> said machine in an amount not to exceed Thirty Thousand Five <br /> Hundred Dollars ($30 ,500 . 00) ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> AS FOLLOWS : <br /> 1 . This Council hereby approves the purchase of one <br /> digital tape logging machine from the Dictaphone Corporation in <br /> an amount not to exceed Thirty Thousand Five Hundred Dollars <br /> ($30 , 500 . 00) . <br /> 2 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> execute all documents required in connection with the purchase <br /> authorized herein (in form approved by the City Attorney) for and <br /> on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> * * * <br />
