<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES - <br />TRAFFIC STUDY/ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br />FOR 600 BAIR ISLAND ROAD <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this )0 ~ <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br /> <br />, 2000, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />m ict al corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and FEHR & PEERS <br /> <br />ASSOCIATES, INC., of Lafayette, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br /> <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed development of 2 five-story <br /> <br />office buildings and 1 three-level parking structure with approximately 980 <br /> <br />parking spaces; and an alternative development of 2 three-story office buildings <br /> <br />with approximately 596 surface parking spaces on a 5.18 acre site located at <br /> <br />600 Bair Island Road in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br /> <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br /> <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §21000 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br /> <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br /> <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, City has determined that the <br /> <br />traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and documentation shall <br /> <br />Agmt-358 <br />F: Shared/Redwood/Council <br />FXS:djk <br />OS/25/00 <br /> <br />1 <br />
